Miranda (she/they) is a poet, fiction writer, and public health scientist. She lives in North Carolina where she researches infectious disease prevention and sexual health (having previously been an archaeologist, stagehand, librarian, and pizza delivery girl, among other things). She was awarded the Coppice Prize for short fiction in 2025 and her poetry has appeared in The Rumpus, Poetry Breakfast, and Cellar Door, where she won the 2018 First Prize in Poetry as an undergraduate.
