Miranda is a poet, fiction writer, and public health scientist. Born and raised in Florida, she now lives and works in San Francisco. Her fiction has appeared in the South Florida Poetry Journal, Club Plum, and was awarded the Coppice Prize in 2025. Her poetry has appeared in The Closed Eye Open, The Rumpus, Poetry Breakfast, and Cellar Door, where she won the 2018 First Prize in Poetry as an undergraduate.
